Mass Distribution Programme Held Under DAJGUA Scheme at Karbook

Karbook, June 30, 2025:

A grand Block Level Mega IEC Event cum Saturation Camp under the DAJGUA Scheme was successfully organized at the SDM Office by Sub-Treasury office Karbook on June 30, 2025. The event was marked by the distribution of multiple government welfare benefits and certificates to eligible beneficiaries, reflecting the government’s commitment towards inclusive development and saturation of flagship schemes in remote regions. 

The event witnessed the gracious presence of Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of Tripura, Hon’ble Sabhadipati, Gomati District, Hon’ble MLAs of 42-Amarpur and 43-Karbook Assembly Constituencies, Hon’ble BAC Chairman, Silachari R.D Block, Hon’ble BAC Vice-Chairman, Karbook BAC, along with senior government officials including the Director of Treasury, and the ADM & Collector, Gomati District.

As part of the distribution drive, key benefits extended included:

PMAY (G) certificate 

PM-JANMAN entitlements

Bank loans to SHGs from Tripura Gramin Bank and Punjab National Bank

Best SHG certificates, Lakpati Didi certificates (mango cultivation - Hospana SHG)

Ayushman Bharat Health Cards (ABHA) and Ayushman Cards

Ration Cards, PRTC Certificates, and ST Certificates

Recognition certificates under Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi (ARDD)

Demo cheques for MSY scheme

Distribution of cast nets, ice boxes, fingerlings (fisheries), plant saplings, sprayers, foxtail millet, and mushroom spawn to farmers and SHG members 

The event aimed at ensuring 100% saturation of all eligible beneficiaries, with dedicated service counters and support teams present on-site to facilitate smooth distribution. The overwhelming participation and successful execution highlighted the collaborative effort between departments, local bodies, and the community in driving grassroots empowerment through government schemes.

SHG One Step Forward in Development under Karbook RD Block

Karbook, June 27, 2025:

In a significant move towards strengthening Self Help Groups (SHGs) in remote areas, the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) successfully conducted CSP (Community Service Provider) examinations today at the BSC Hall, Karbook. The exams were held for SHG members from both Karbook Cluster and Tirthamuk Cluster, under Karbook RD Block. 

Karbook Cluster 

This initiative marks a crucial step in empowering rural communities and enhancing grassroots-level capacity through SHGs. The government’s broader goal remains focused on bringing holistic development to remote areas via community-led structures like SHGs.

The Tirthamuk Cluster CSP exam was conducted from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM, followed by the Karbook Cluster exam from 2:18 PM to 3:18 PM. Each examination lasted for one hour and witnessed enthusiastic participation from SHG members aspiring to become certified service providers.

Officials from TRLM and Karbook RD Block monitored the smooth conduct of the examination 

process, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity for all participants.

This effort is seen as a strategic move to develop local leadership, promote self-reliance, and enhance last-mile service delivery in underdeveloped areas of the region.

Preparatory Meeting Held for Block-Level Mega Event & Saturation Camp under DAJGUA Scheme at Karbook

Karbook, June 27, 2025:

A preparatory coordination meeting was successfully conducted yesterday under the leadership of Karbook R.D Block officials to strategize for the upcoming Block-Level Mega Event & Saturation Camp scheduled to be held on 30th June 2025 at 11:30 AM at the SDM Office Premises, Karbook. The initiative is part of the ongoing efforts under the DAJGUA Scheme, aimed at ensuring 100% coverage of eligible beneficiaries.

The meeting saw active participation from Panchayat officials, field functionaries, and block-level coordinators, all of whom committed to making the event a success. Detailed discussions were held on logistics, beneficiary mobilization, and inter-departmental coordination.

As part of the preparation, dedicated teams have been formed to carry out door-to-door verification and awareness campaigns in every Panchayat area, ensuring that no eligible individual is left out of the scheme benefits.

Block officials emphasized the importance of the saturation camp in achieving inclusive development and delivering last-mile welfare services effectively.

The upcoming Mega Event is expected to draw large participation and will feature on-the-spot enrolment, grievance redressal, and distribution of scheme benefits under the DAJGUA framework.

Unknown Bike Seen Repeatedly at Night Creates Panic in Jalaya Bara Bandhu Para

Karbook, Gomati Tripura – June 22, 2025:

A sense of fear and confusion has gripped the villagers of Jalaya Bara Bandhu Para in Karbook subdivision as an unknown TVS Radeon bike TR0P6491 has been spotted every night in the area over the past several days. 

According to local residents, the bike appears late at night and leaves before sunrise, without anyone identifying the rider. This unusual pattern has raised serious concerns among the villagers, who fear that if something unfortunate were to happen to the bike owner, the blame might fall on the villagers.

“We are all living in tension. Nobody knows who the person is or what they are doing here at such odd hours. If anything happens to him, we are scared we will be held responsible,” said one of the concerned residents.

The villagers are now urging the Gomati District Police Helpless to investigate the matter urgently to ensure safety and peace in the area.

Heart-Touching Appeal from Jalaya Bazar: A Young Life Battles in Silence

Karbook, Gomati Tripura | For the last 7 years, Kishore Tripura from Jalaya Bazar has been living a life far from normal. Once full of dreams and energy, Kishore has been physically disabled due to an undiagnosed condition. Though doctors earlier suspected diabetes, recent medical reports have confirmed that his sugar levels are normal. But now, the real battle is with extremely low sodium and potassium levels in his body—making even basic movement a daily struggle.

Speaking with heavy eyes and a hopeful heart, Kishore says, "I don't want to just sit and suffer anymore. I want to walk, run, and live like everyone else. I still dream of playing again—just like I used to."

In a brave step forward, Kishore is set to travel to Chennai on July 12th for advanced treatment and diagnosis. However, due to his family's financial limitations, the cost of medical care and travel is beyond their means.

He is humbly appealing for support from kind-hearted people who can help him reclaim his life.
