Karbook, Tripura: A serious road accident occurred today on the Karbook-Jalaya road involving a truck (TR-08A-1710) and an auto-rickshaw (TR-03C-3148). According to reports, the mishap took place due to the alleged negligence of the auto driver, resulting in injuries to passengers.

Inside the auto-rickshaw were two women, identified as Sachi Rani Chakma and Pancha Rani Tripura, along with three children. The collision left them injured, and local residents immediately rushed to their aid. They were later shifted to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
Eyewitnesses claim that the accident was caused by the reckless driving of the auto driver, who lost control of the vehicle and collided with the truck. Authorities have reached the spot to assess the situation and are investigating the exact cause of the incident.
Traffic movement in the area was briefly affected following the accident, but normalcy was restored soon after. The police have urged drivers to maintain caution and follow traffic rules to prevent such unfortunate incidents in the future. Further details on the victims’ condition are awaited.
