CPIM Holds Rally and Sit-in at Shilachari Block and Karbook Block, Submits Deputation on Three-Point Demand

Karbook and Silachari, Tripura – As part of a state-wide movement, CPIM organized a mass rally, sit-in, and deputation at the Shilachari Block and Karbook Block under Karbook Subdivision today, raising a three-point demand. The key demands included immediate payment of pending MGNREGA wages, early resumption of MGNREGA work, and distribution of essential items along with rice through the local ration dealers.

CPIM Rally Karbook 

Comrades Chandrasekhar Tripura, Monita Chakma, Fulrani Chakma, and Amit Tripura led the delegation, while CPIM Karbook Subdivision Secretary Comrade Magendra Reang addressed the gathering as the main speaker. He emphasized the need for urgent government action to address the struggles of the rural poor. The rally reflected growing frustration over delays in basic entitlements.
