Water Crisis in Patichari VC: Authorities Assure Action

Patichari: Residents of Patichari VC under Karbook RD Block are facing a severe water crisis due to issues with the government’s water supply system. According to Mrs. Titirwng Tripura, the supplied water has a foul smell, making it unsuitable for drinking and cooking.

To cope with the crisis, villagers have started digging their own water sources. Recognizing the urgency, Karbook BDO Subrajit Paul recently visited the affected areas, including Rosomani Para, along with RPM Bishwanath Kalai.

Officials have confirmed the issue and assured that necessary actions will be taken soon. Until a permanent solution is implemented,

the Karbook Block administration plans to install an Overhead Water Pump (OHP) to provide clean water to the villagers. Local authorities have assured that the problem will be addressed promptly, ensuring safe drinking water for the community.
