127 Voters from CPI(M) Join BJP in Kishanpur – Minister Bikash Debbarma Welcomes Them

In a significant political development, 127 voters from the CPI(M) have officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Kishanpur Assembly constituency. The joining took place during a special event held in the presence of State Minister Bikash Debbarma, who warmly welcomed the new members into the BJP fold.

The program, marked by enthusiastic participation, highlighted a growing shift in public support towards the BJP in the region. Minister Bikash Debbarma personally received the new entrants and handed over party flags, expressing confidence that their support will strengthen the BJP’s grassroots presence in the 29-Kishanpur Assembly constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister stated, “The public is increasingly realizing the developmental vision and inclusive policies of the BJP. This mass defection from the CPI(M) shows that people are choosing progress and good governance over outdated politics.” Local BJP leaders and party workers were also present at the event, which was described as a morale booster ahead of upcoming political activities. The new members pledged to work for the party and contribute to its mission of development and public service. This shift is being seen as a major setback for the CPI(M) in the region, as the BJP continues to expand its influence across Tripura.
