Sichaha VO Clinches Thumping Victory in 8th Match

The 8th match of the tournament witnessed a one-sided and memorable contest between Sichaha VO and Mohila Sakti VO under Karbook RD Block. Mohila Sakti VO won the toss and decided to bowl first, but the decision proved costly.   

Batting first, Sichaha VO delivered a powerful performance, posting a strong total of 71 runs for the loss of just 1 wicket in the full 6 overs. The star of the match was Rabina Tripura,

a village girl from the Karbook RD Block, who created history by scoring a शानदार half-century (51 runs). Remarkably, Rabina had never played cricket before, yet she showed immense confidence, timing, and determination at the crease, surprising both spectators and opponents alike.

Her fearless batting not only boosted Sichaha VO’s total but also inspired many village girls, proving that with opportunity and encouragement, hidden talent can shine even without prior experience.

In reply, Mohila Sakti VO failed to cope with the tight bowling and fielding pressure and were bowled out for just 14 runs for 6 wickets in their allotted 6 overs.

With this dominant performance, Sichaha VO won the match by a massive margin of 57 runs. For her extraordinary achievement and maiden half-century, Rabina Tripura was deservedly declared the Woman of the Match.
