With the families in Tripura facing the difficult task of arranging transportation from Karnataka, the Tripura People Foundation has stepped forward to seek public assistance.
The estimated cost of transporting the mortal remains is approximately ₹60,000. The journey involves a considerable distance, with the air distance between Karnataka and Tripura estimated at around 1,850–1,880 kilometres.
Dinesh Debbarma has requested members of the public to contribute according to their capacity. Even small contributions, when combined, could help the foundation arrange transportation and reduce the burden on the bereaved families.
The appeal also highlights the challenges faced by people who travel outside Tripura for employment and whose families must arrange emergency support when tragedy strikes far from home.
The foundation is seeking cooperation from the public to help ensure that all three deceased individuals can be returned to their families for their final rites.
