Food Safety Supervisor Training Conducted at Karbook Sub-Division

Karbook: A three-day training program on Food Safety Supervisor (Level-1) was successfully conducted from 10th to 12th April 2025 at Karbook Sub-Division, Gomati District, Tripura. The program was organized by Shiksha Evam Kalyan Samiti (SEKS) with the aim of educating local vendors and business owners on food safety standards and hygiene practices. 

The training saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of shopkeepers from Karbook Bazar, Jalaya Bazar, and Bairagi Dukan, along with vendors from other key marketplaces around 80 shopkeeper are present within the subdivision. The sessions were led by Mr. Sarthak Shil the Shiksha Evam Kalyan Samiti Coordinator, and Mr. Arjeet Kr. Bhattacharjee, Master Trainer. They were supported by Karbook Market secretary Mahinanda Jamatia, who covered important topics related to food handling, storage, and safety protocols.

The training aimed to ensure safer food practices in local markets, enhancing public health awareness and compliance with food safety regulations.
