Despite disruptions due to rain, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, during his address, expressed hope that these new initiatives would significantly contribute to the socio-economic development of not only Kalyanpur but the entire Khowai district. The Chief Minister strongly asserted that previous administrations in Tripura misled the public through various political slogans, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the current government is fully committed to the comprehensive development of the state.
He also highlighted the increased budget allocations toward education, health, and other essential sectors in this year’s state budget. Addressing opposition criticisms regarding employment, the Chief Minister declared that over 17,000 government jobs have been provided in the last seven years, and an additional 8,000 to 10,000 government jobs are expected to be offered in the near future.
Additionally, Ramchandraghat MLA Ranjit Debbarma and Kalyanpur-Promodnagar MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, in their respective speeches, congratulated the state government for its continued developmental efforts under the leadership of the Chief Minister.
The inaugural event, chaired by Kalyanpur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Somen Gopal, also witnessed the presence of Khowai Zilla Parishad President Aparna Singh Roy, along with top administrative officials such as Kiran Gitte, N.C. Sharma, and Rajat Panth. Although rain temporarily disrupted the event, public enthusiasm remained high throughout the program.
