ARCS Office Inaugurated at Karbook Sub-Division, Gomati District

Karbook, August 29, 2025 – A new chapter in cooperative development began today in Karbook sub-division of Gomati District with the inauguration of the Office of the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS). The office was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of Cooperation, Sri Sukla Charan Noatia, Government of Tripura.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Karbook MLA Sanjoy Manik Tripura, BAC Vice Chairman Pranab Tripura, prominent social worker Ashim Tripura, along with local leaders Sucil Reang and Kusomti Reang.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sukla Charan Noatia highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening the cooperative movement in rural areas. He noted that the opening of the ARCS office at Karbook will bring administrative services closer to the people, ensuring smoother registration and monitoring of cooperative societies.

Local leaders welcomed the development, stating that the new office will boost self-help groups, farmer collectives, and youth cooperatives, thereby promoting economic growth and self-reliance in the region.

The inauguration marks a significant step towards decentralization, reducing the dependence on distant offices and empowering Karbook subdivision with better institutional support.
