Much-Awaited Kamalpur Cricket Ground and Gallery to be Inaugurated Tomorrow by CM Manik Saha

The long-awaited Kamalpur Cricket Ground and Gallery is set to be officially inaugurated tomorrow, marking a proud moment for the sporting community of the region. The grand inauguration ceremony will be conducted by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha, at 11:00 AM.

Joining the Chief Minister at the event will be State Sports Minister Tinku Roy, Kamalpur MLA and former Sports Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, and Surma MLA Swapna Das (Paul). With just hours left, last-minute preparations are in full swing, with organizers working tirelessly to ensure a successful launch.

Following the inauguration, a thrilling T10 exhibition match will be played between Bengal Tigers, a visiting team from Kolkata, and a team from the Tripura Cricket Association XI. The match is expected to draw significant local attention and kickstart the venue's role as a hub for cricket and youth engagement.

In a brief statement, MLA Manoj Kanti Deb expressed his excitement, saying this cricket ground will open new avenues for local talent and serve as a landmark for Kamalpur’s sports development.
