MDC Presmit Debbarma Responds to Drinking Water Hardship in Sukiaya Village

Sukiaya, August 23: A gesture of concern and commitment towards the Tiprasa community was witnessed in Sukiaya village, where MDC Presmit Debbarma stepped forward to address the drinking water difficulties faced by local villagers.

Three days ago, while returning from work, MDC Presmit Debbarma reportedly noticed villagers carrying drinking water in pitchers. Seeing the hardship faced by the villagers, he stopped his vehicle and spoke with them about their difficulties.

Moved by the situation, he promised the villagers that he would try to arrange a source of fresh drinking water for them. Keeping his word, he returned to the village today, just three days later, and provided a motor water pump to help the villagers access fresh water.

The villagers expressed their gratitude for his timely intervention and support.

Speaking to the villagers, MDC Presmit Debbarma reiterated his commitment to working for the welfare of the Tiprasa people. He said that he would continue to do whatever possible within his capacity to support the community and address their basic needs in the future.

The incident has been viewed by local residents as an example of responsive leadership, where a public representative personally noticed a grassroots problem and took steps to provide immediate assistance.
