Teacher Swapan Namo Distributes Food and Educational Materials Among Needy Tribal Families

Ambassa: A social welfare programme was organised today on the initiative of noted teacher Swapan Namo in the tribal hamlet of Shikaribari, located at the foothills of the Longtarai Hills.

During the programme, rice, pulses and various other food items were distributed among poor and underprivileged tribal families. Educational materials were also provided to students to support their studies.

Teacher Swapan Namo is known for regularly organising social welfare activities in different hilly settlements and extending support to families in need. Students also participated in today’s programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Swapan Namo said that such initiatives are aimed not only at helping underprivileged people but also at developing social awareness and a sense of responsibility among students.

He said that people living in remote hilly settlements often face significant hardships in their daily lives. He expressed satisfaction at being able to extend even a small helping hand and assured that he would continue supporting needy families in the coming days.

Local residents appreciated the initiative and praised Teacher Swapan Namo for his continued efforts to stand beside poor and underprivileged families in the hill areas.
