On May 16, 2025, Today morning students from PM SHRI Prahallad Sardar Para H.S. School in Karbook, Gumti Tripura, staged a protest demanding the appointment of additional teachers.

The demonstration involved blocking the Karbook–Agartala road at Buiragi Dukan, causing significant traffic disruptions. The students emphasized the urgent need for more educators to address the shortage affecting their education. Local authorities were alerted, and efforts are underway to resolve the issue and restore normalcy.
