Karbook, August 2, 2025: In anticipation of the upcoming Adivasi/Indigenous Day on August 9, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a vibrant rally today at Jalaya Bazar, Karbook. The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of nearly 300 participants, reflecting strong community support and political mobilization ahead of the significant cultural occasion.
Several key leaders and BJP workers were present to mark the occasion. Among them were Julybari BAC Chairman Ashok Mog, 28 Manu MDC from Bankul Kangjaong Mog, Mandal President Ashim Tripura, and active BJP workers Dharjaray Tripura and Subiya Tripura.
The rally highlighted the BJP's engagement with indigenous communities and emphasized their commitment to preserving cultural identity and promoting development among the tribal population of the state.
With slogans, traditional attire, and community participation, the rally served as a prelude to the broader celebrations expected on August 9, which marks the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples.
Local residents expressed appreciation for the initiative, hoping such efforts would bring more visibility and support to indigenous voices in the region.
