The forthcoming celebration of the 79th Independence Day was observed today at Tirtha Muk with great enthusiasm, under the spirit of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" mission. The event was organized by the Karbook Sub-Division administration and will continue from August 2 to August 15, 2025, covering various localities.

The highlight of today’s programme was the unique hosting of the National Flag on a boat, symbolizing unity and patriotism across communities. Local leader Goranga Reang was present at the event, encouraging participants to uphold the values of freedom and harmony.
The initiative aims to inspire every household to hoist the national flag during the Independence Day week, reinforcing the message of national pride.
Authorities have confirmed that similar programmes will be conducted in other areas under the Karbook Sub-Division until August 15, ensuring wide public participation in this patriotic mission.
